The Spin Blade 360 embodies a microsurgical blade that’s been originally developed for eye surgery and thereafter modified and adjusted to the specific requirements in reconstructive periodontal and peri-implant surgery. It will not only close a long overdue gap in up-to-date toolkits, it will rather act as a game-changer in a number of ways. On the one hand, its unparalleled small and ultra-thin working end allows precise and atraumatic flap preparation even in situations with very difficult access andextremely thin soft tissue conditions. But above all and furthermore, the Spin Blade 360 can be easily bent and rotated horizontally. In this way it allows controlled split-thickness flap preparation in areas where straight scalpel blades are impossible to apply. The latter opens the door for innovative and previously not feasible flap designs and makes the Spin Blade 360 a must-have for every ambitious clinician in the near future. The blade is only compatible with the TOUCHGRIP 03 microsurgical scalpel handle.
